If you are a Reading resident experiencing food insecurity, you are welcome to visit the pantry and you will receive food on your first visit. The Reading Food Pantry is open to serve neighbors on Mondays from 6:30-7:30 pm, and Fridays from 10:30-11:30 am via drive-through service.
Enter via the Salem St entrance and proceed to the back of the building.
Neighbors are able to visit the pantry twice per month. Please see our monthly calendar for more information.
We provide: food, paper products, personal hygiene products, baby items (diapers, food, formula), and home-cooked food.

Food deliveries via food pantry volunteers are available for those who are physically unable to visit the pantry in person. To receive deliveries, please fill out the contact form.
A food pantry volunteer will call their assigned delivery neighbor two Tuesdays a month to get their order, then shop at the Pantry between 12 pm and 4 pm the next day (Wednesday) to gather and deliver their groceries.

We now offer home-cooked meals that neighbors can choose when they visit the pantry. We usually have a selection of at least two entrees and a snack or two.
